I have spent more than 16 years as a police officer, the last 15 with the Rensselaer Police Department, where I was also their union president. My background in law enforcement has provided me with a wealth of knowledge in criminal defense. I also am an adjunct professor at Russell Sage College, teaching courses in policing, law and the legal process and criminal law. While the focus of my law practice is criminal defense, I do take on a wide variety of cases including, vehicle and traffic violations, civil and family law cases.
